Strength of Cedar

Cedar is a plant that has endured for many years, symbolizing strength and renewal. It holds a deep respect that stretches back thousands of years and is culturally, spiritually, and economically important in Indigenous life. Valued for its healing properties, it is also one of the four sacred medicines. Giizhik is the word for cedar in Ojibwe.
